I missed this workshop again due to a sports fixture, however I have recreated the outcome as best I can, in my own time. This workshop was about choosing 3 type fonts and using them to create a stencil made up of some form of pattern. I made these designs on InDesign and then printed them off, the file can be seen below.
I then cut the text out using a craft knife in order to create a stencil to paint over. It was difficult with the design based around the letter E, to keep the gaps in between letter big enough so that the card did not break. Some images from the process of carving the letters can be seen below.
I then stuck them over the top of a blank piece of card before using spray paint to spray over it. This is a slight variation to the original workshop as that was done using a paint roller however to replicate this at home I used spray paint as it dries quicker. However the outcome is similar but the edges of the print are not as smooth. This can be seen below in the images of the final outcomes.
