CS workshop - Thursday 13th October

Today's CS workshop was useful for me having not used InDesign before to get to grips with the software and understand it a little bit better. We just did a series of experiments making different types of bitmaps allowing us to have a play with the software at our own pace. After this workshop I personally would not feel completely comfortable working in InDesign however I can now work in it to a basic level which is more than I could do prior to the lesson.

This is an attempt at a poster on InDesign to include everything that I included in my design manifesto. I tried to make this poster in the style of Muller-Brockmann, however due to my inexperience in InDesign I am not 100% pleased with the outcome but I will try this task again at a later date once I am more experienced on the software. The screenshots above are of key points in the process and the final product, I have hidden the grid I used organise the design for the purpose of the screenshots to make it more visible.
