First essay question - Thursday 13th October

In todays lecture we received our first essay question with 3 possible choices of questions. The most appealing one to me is the concept of brand vs. anti-brand due to branding being where my interest in design is most prominent. The question involves the debate of whether branding has had a positive effect on the world of design or not. I feel as if this question would enable me to explore the manifesto of designers mentioned previously in my blog due to it's relevance around the same argument. Furthermore my opinion would be that brands give designers more work and put a lot of money into the design industry.
