Perspectives - Friday 7th October
Todays workshops followed on from yesterdays lecture looking at maps. In the morning we worked individually making 6 sketchbooks, which each contained 4 arial views of a memory getting progressively higher. It was in my opinion challenging to draw the highest views as you had to judge how much detail to put in due to how high the perspective was. It was a whole different challenge than what I have faced before whilst drawing, having previously not drawn from an arial viewpoint. After lunch we then worked in groups to produce the long scroll pictured above. We combined our memories including key places from everyones work in order to create a mini fictional world containing all of our memories.
