Typography Workshop - Wednesday 22nd November

This project was similar to the last workshop of this style as it was another cut and stick exercise. The first of the took tasks we partook in was an individual task which was making a phrase that we got at random from a fortune cookie. We then had to make this phrase from the two type fonts given to us and stick it onto a A3 sheet. The result can be seen below.

The second task was the group work. The phrase that we had to create this time was based upon song lyrics. We chose one and played upon the opening line containing home to then go on to form the overall image of a house with different lines appropriate to its lyrics but also to different parts of a house. The main feature are the roof, starts and windows of the building. This can be seen below.
