Cinema 4D Showreel - Wednesday 21st February

This workshop was about showcasing our work from these workshops throughout the year by using Adobe Premiere Pro CC and Adobe Audition CC. I had not used either of these programs in any great detail before this workshop so it was interesting to learn something new. Initially we did the workshop using images and short animations provided to us by Jay and then as an advancement upon this I have replaced them with my own work. Firstly to do the slideshow, I made the images black and white as well as levelling them in photoshop. I then imported them into the piece so that they appeared in the project folder in the bottom left corner. I then used the music provided to us and worked out every third beat and applied keyframes to it as marker of where the transitions for the images would be. I also edited the music in Adobe Audition so that it faded out towards the end of the piece. The screenshot below shows The timeline with the transition effects applied in between each image of a fade in and out. Also the keyframes on the music can also be seen which is what the change over of images is based on. Also the final slideshow of my images can be seen below.

The second part of the workshop was to create a similar presentation format but with the video outputs that I have produced throughout the course of the year. It was a similar process to the first one, I started by importing all of the MP4 files that we were given and then I later developed them into my own work throughout. I applied similar transitions of fade in and fade out but I applied them over longer time periods. I then applied the credits preset and dragged the text box down so that it rolled up the screen over a set time. Again I edited the music in Audition, this time making it fade out towards the end of the piece as the music was longer than the composition. The end piece can be seen below.
