Making our own type font exercise - Monday 14th November

This seminar was reflecting on the purpose of type. We did an exercise in which we cut out simple shapes which made up various parts of a type font. From this we then had to assemble them as we saw fit in order to create our own type font. Our examples not only thought about letters but also about numbers with a possible design for a number 8. The type font that we made is in quite a geometric sort of style it reminds me of the sort of font on a calculator.
