Tracey Lannon took today's lecture considering how design makes us feel as certain way. A lot of focus was on the idea of perception or illusion and sensory information processing. It was interesting to find out that our expectations can dictate what we see in something as explained by Rosenthal's expectations effect. The example of the cardboard stand up dinosaur was particularly effective as it showed how our mind focuses on the eyes and the face of the character so it makes an illusion of movement.
