This seminar was looking at using type to show some form of transformation between something. This was following on from the design emotion lecture as it was looking at how the way something is presented can provoke some sort of emotion that makes you think that the type is in a certain style or gives a certain message. In this example that I have made after the lecture the idea is that the text deteriorates throughout the piece to reflect the word shown. To do this I have used a grunge style photoshop brush that I have downloaded, which creates a worn effect. I had this idea initially in the lecture as shown below then have gone on to later develop it in photoshop.
