Sense of place 2: Place Making - Thursday 10th November
Today we were introduced to the second part of the brief and started to write the project outline of proposal for our work. We have jotted down some initial ideas which we shall build upon in tutor groups tomorrow. My initial ideas that link to the first part of my project are either something around opposites which is an idea that if pursued would have to be refined or focusing on blank spaces become branded. The first of these on opposites would allow me to look into the purpose of the historical and modern buildings in Huddersfield further. The other project would allow me to incorporate branding in my project which is something that I am really interested in and I could research into brands. No matter which way I decide to take my project I want to try and incorporate drawing into my work more as I believe that it is one of my weaker areas and if I force myself to include it in my work I will get stronger at it.
