Today's seminar was about making our statements about ourselves stand out more. There was talk about less stating just facts about yourself like a fact file instead using more interesting statements to show further thought had been put into the making of the statement. To do this we worked in groups of 5 and were given a set of cards with a key word on them.
For each key word we had to incorporate it in a short statement relevant to design, here are some examples:
- Open mind
- Ideas are building blocks
- Defy logic
- Find the material you need
- Make your own rules
- Practise makes perfect
- Eliminate problems
- Believe in your own ability
