Ben Bowden

Creative Freelancer and Graphic Design BA Hons Graduate. I have done freelance work since 2015 and I completed my first paid commission at the age of 16. Since then I have continued to do some freelance work alongside my education. I spent 3 years learning at the University of Huddersfield, at the end of which I graduated with a high second class honours (2:1). Also, I have exhibited at Inspire Huddersfield and at the D&AD New Blood Festival in London's Old Truman Brewery.

Sara Nesteruk talk - Monday 7th November

Having Sara as a lecturer it was intriguing to find out about what she did before lecturing at Huddersfield and what she is currently working on. Her work at BBC Sport was particularly of interest to me as I am really interested in sport so recognised a lot of her work. Seeing the design side of some of these shows was something that I found quite interesting and hadn't really picked up upon massively before. It was quite inspirational to see that you can do design about your interests as a job which would make it even more enjoyable.
