Placement Talk - Friday 10th November

This workshop was not as useful as I expected as only one final year turned up to talk about their placement experience. It was interesting to hear from her about the process of getting a placement and the amount of effort that it takes to land a placement. It was suggested to me that I look into placements in San Francisco to follow the route of corporate branding. Looking abroad is not something that I have really considered when looking into my placement however it is something that I will take on board in order to research it further. The main message from the workshop was that you should aim at the highest businesses possible and not limit yourself based on your own judgement of your work as you often underestimate your own ability.
